Mingyur Rinpoche talks about how we can bring meditation into our daily lives, from small retreats once a month to moments during the day. In his very direct practical style he makes it seem do-able for people who have busy lives to integrate meditation practice into any moment. I think people often think we have to do a whole month or a whole hour or even sit down on a cushion for a set period of time for it to qualify as “meditation practice”. Mingyur Rinpoche offers many different ways, some formal, some not, and emphasizes the intention and motivation to practice over the actual time spent practicing.
