More on microbeads. They point out that it’s not enough to just not buy them, we need to take action to get these toxins out of our lives and water and food chain… but I can’t help thinking, we will never succeed if we have to take action against each single chemical product that is being sold in the supermarkets all the time. There are hundreds of thousands of them in personal care and household products, in daily life in food and drink, packaging etc etc. It’s time to ban them all until they are tested. Most are completely unnecessary, why use plastic when you can use salt, or sugar, or apricot kernels or coffee grounds (just as an example for face scrubs). Sigh.
