Wow the world of living with Autoimmune disease and Appropriate dietary medicine has come a long long way since I first started my diet created by Dr Chris Reading in Dee Why, Australia. It is encouraging to see that what is not called (Paleo) Auto Immune Protocol (AIP) is very similar to his. Some things are different but not much and the research and practice has informed this so much. And on top of that, there are all kinds of intelligent people who have changed their own diets for much improved health (with AI disease) and who also love food, feed their families with a view to health and nourishment and who can come up with a list like this. I ate no spices at all back then, only fresh herbs and even then I wondered. Now this is a great resource. Of course everyone need to see what works for them but this is so helpful!

Just please excuse the American inability to distinguish a herb from a spice !
